I am the mother...Thank you for writing about this. I am the mother of the child that did not receive the IEP services in this case. You are correct in that most of the claims should not have been filed under federal court, something that I didn't know and relied upon my attorney and his judgement. Use this case as an example. Educate yourself and exercise your rights under IDEA immediately with documentation that supports every allegation. Be proactive rather than reactive.
